RasInTask is a little tool wich places itself in the System tray where you can run all
in your system installed connections from a cool PopUp-Menu
But that's not all: RasInTask has some nice extra-features. (* stands for new in version 1.1)
| This PopUp-Menu shows all the connections that are installed in your system. With only one click you
can begin to dial. With some minimal configuration in the option-screen you can even dial without
opening the Menu. RasInTask can handle more that one connection at the same time (*).
|
 |
| RasInTask is multilingual. If you prefer german (the main-language) or english. RasInTask "understands"
both of the languages. More and better translations are planned if they are finished, they
can be integrated into RasInTask wihtout having the author to compile a new release (*).
Interesting: RasInTask changes the language without making you restarting the tool.

This is a part of the clear settings-dialog. Is changeing some options with the Microsoft DUN-Applet
a easy as it is with RasInTask? Decide yourself and download the program!
|
 |
| What happens if you connect? RasInTask knows the answer! Every time you connect, the program will bring a
window to the screen that displays the type of data that is transferred between you and your provider.
|
 |
| RasInTask can much more: Here are the tree tabs in the settings-dialog that contain options you can set for
every connection. As you can see, there are listed some features that Microsoft does not implement (not even
in Win98). There are so many new Features in the current version of RasInTask that placing a new
screenshot here would destroy the layout (too wide)(*)! |
 |
| Since 1.08 I know that there are some poeple that use connections that change the password every LogOn (I did
not know that such a stupid system does really exist...). RasInTask can handle those connections: Simply
check one or both of this two checkboxes and RasInTask will bring up a LogOn-Dialog when you begin to connect.
|
 |
| Do you have more than one Provider? Or provides you your provider with more than one POP with different Phone-Numbers
and Modem-Settings? RasInTask can help you to get connected: If one number cannot be dialed, RasInTask will show a dialog
where you can specify, which connections will be dialed (this screenshot is an old one. In the current release,
there are so many extra-features concering Re- and MultiDial that I had to create an extra-tab.(*) A screenshot
of this would be far too big)
|
 |
| You cannot save your password? This is a bug of Windows (95 and probably 98). RasInTask can fix this bug...
(On the screenshoot the CheckBox is disabled because the bug does not exist under WinNT, so the option
is not available on that system).
|
 |
| Let Windows do all the work for you! RasInTask has and exciting (and rare) feature: It can register
itself as the DefaultDialer! Whenever Windows wants to connect to the internet, RasInTask will display
a dialog and will then begin to dial. You can use all the special-features of RasInTask while dialing!(*)

After all, RasInTask 1.1 has a couple of more exciting features (but it was very late when I wrote this page
and so I thought that a list without screenshots would also be nice. Actually making the shots was no problem,
but adding those shadows was a pain):
