| RasInTask 1.1 BETA is out! |
After some hours of thinking and removing what I've already done, I think that the GUI is now complete. I have not
changed anything in the functionality, but I have changed everything to the "flat look" and I've added a ton of
icons.
Please look at the screenshots and tell me what do you think about
the new look. Of course, you are still invited to join into the "club of betatesters". There is a page that explains how.
| This is the new interface. Since RasInTask is now able to handle unlimited active
connections at the same time, I had to add a new way to disconnect. You have the choice between the displayed layout with submenus and one-dimensional layout with checkboxes next to the menuitems Have a look at the new Icons! |

| RasInTask has a new look! Everything is now flat and all short texts have a cool 3D shadow. On this
image, you can see the new checkboxes. RasInTask has other new controls like flat editfields, comboboxes and more. |

| This is a part of the new tree in the options-screen. The content is the same, but all items
have now cool icons. As you can see, I have tried to have a consistent look through the whole program. Settings have always the same icon for example. |

The programstartlist is now improoved. It has many new features that you expect of a professional tool:
|
![]() |
| This is the most wanted feature of the new version! RasInTask can now disconnect if there is no traffic on the line. But this would not be a feature of RasInTask if it was not possible to change many details! If you wish, you can also disconnect without waiting RasInTask for a loss of activity on the line. If you wish, you will be able to let RasInTask hang up, if some window closes itself (or gets closed). Take the download-window of Netscape as an example |
![]() |
| This is an addition of the "Keep-Alive"-Feature. RasInTask gives you now the possibility to reconnect, if you have been disconnected. If you wish, you can turn of the currentely used type of Keep-Alive and turn only this new feature on (I suggest you to do that only with ISDN) | |
| MultiDial is now improoved: It lets you preselect the connections which RasInTask should try.
You can setup RasInTask to do MultiDial without any further confirmation. You can also select, if RasInTask should use the settings of the first connection or of the actually dialed one. I suggest you to turn on this new feature for the Programstartlist. |
